The Role ?
As an Educational Mental Health Practitioner, you'll have the unique opportunity to:
- Deliver Therapeutic Support: Provide targeted interventions for students with SEMH, autism, ADHD, and trauma-related challenges.
- Build Resilience: Help students develop emotional resilience, self-regulation, and positive mental health through evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate Across the School: Work with teachers, families, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students' mental health.
- Champion Mental Health Awareness: Foster a school-wide culture of well-being and mental health awareness.
What the School Is Looking For ??
- Qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or similar qualification in mental health or therapeutic support.
- Proven experience in delivering mental health interventions to children and young people, particularly those with complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate, empathetic approach.
